life
moves so quickly.
i wish i could go to bolivia tomorrow and say hi to everyone again, eat a saltena, and climb to the top of the torre entel and sit high above the city, looking out, and resting - with nothing to do but, forgetting the ache of the climb, behold the earth and be free.
i miss the slow environment. that’s also why i like tea in a kettle - it’s slow and you have to wait for it. it reminds me that while there’s a sure something to look forward to, there’s also a present moment to be savored.
praying for a steady pace. patient and humble.

Why is it so hard to enjoy those moments in-between. They are, after all, just as good as the moments we wait for.
